Mission Overview

In this mission, students continue Jim Elliot’s story as Jim and his fellow missionaries seek to share the love of Christ with the Waodani people. Although the story includes heartbreaking events, students also see that God continued working through faithful obedience, forgiveness, and hope.

This lesson helps students discuss difficult missionary history with care while connecting Jim Elliot’s story to biblical themes of love, sacrifice, courage, and trust in God’s purposes.

1. Prepare

• Briefly review Jim Elliot Part 1.
